Conference Speakers

A sample of the many wonderful speakers who will be at the conference:

General Track – Keynote Speaker

Edward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D., a child and adult psychiatrist and graduate of Harvard College and Tulane Medical School, is a highly recognized speaker around the world and has presented to thousands on topics such as ADD, strategies on handling your fast-paced life, the Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness and other pertinent family and health issues. Dr. Hallowell is our featured speaker for the Educator’s Track on Friday, October 1st, 2010.

General Track – Opening Speaker

Tim Piccirillo, born with Tourette Syndrome, grew up with severe symptoms (currently controlled with medication) of jerking his limbs involuntarily, facial tics as well as self-abusive behaviors. Tim graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1984 with a B.S. in Habilitative Science. Tim presents captivating school assembly programs as a motivational school speaker, as well as high-energy keynote presentations for colleges and organizations throughout the country. Tim will also conduct the closing session for the Educators Track.

General Track – Speaker

Rick Green may look familiar from such popular shows as the Red Green Show (which he created, wrote and directed), Prisoners of Gravity (in which he played Commander Rick) and History Bites (which he produced and hosted). He's also the creator of TotallyADD.com, a website that helps liberate people from the fear, shame, and stigma that can accompany ADD, an often misunderstood and misdiagnosed disorder (sound familiar?). Rick will deliver an exciting and inspiring presentation on Friday, October 1st, 2010 entitled Unleash the Power Within.
