The novel coronavirus, now referred to as COVID-19 was declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a global pandemic on March 11th, 2020. Since that time, there have been many security measures taken by international federal and regional governments in efforts to contain the spread of the virus and to isolate it.
12TH ANNUAL TREK FOR TOURETTE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY ON MAY 31ST.
As of March 16th, 2020, Tourette Canada’s Board of Directors made a decision to postpone the 12th annual Trek for Tourette, originally scheduled a national date of March 29th, 2020, to now be held on May 31st, 2020. This decision was made for the safety and security of everyone involved.
With that said, there are several locations showing support for Trek amidst these uncertain times in alternative ways, mainly through virtual means. Read more about our “Virtual Trek Initiative” here.
