Our newly released Annual Report 2011-2012 features highlights from our affiliates across the country. In the coming days we will be featuring each of them on our blog. Today we showcase the unstoppable Greater Toronto Chapter. The Greater Toronto Area, ON Chapter welcomed Douglas Coll as their new President this year. Thanks to volunteer facilitator and long-time Chapter Treasurer, David Stewart, the Chapter continued to hold support meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at St. Leonard’s Church. Toronto area Trekkers came out in force for the 4th Annual Trek for Tourette (pictured) and enjoyed amazing weather and beautiful scenery at the Humber Arboretum. After the walk, they joined up with Trekkers from the Hamilton-Halton-Niagara Area Chapter for some lively music and good food at a local pub. Youth from both Chapters also came together for several social events including a Toronto Blue Jays Game, a bowling night, and a comedy show at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
