In need of a good New Year’s Resolution? Well you’re in luck! Over the next ten weekdays we’ll be giving you a different way each day that you can help the TS movement. We hope that these ideas move and inspire you to contribute to the cause. Let’s make 2012 a year for the record books.
Action #10: Tell Us What You Think
The TSFC is entirely made up of volunteers (other than our tiny national staff), most of whom are affected by TS in one way or another. We’re all passionate about the cause and do our best for it, but we all need feedback to be effective. Whether that takes the form of a helpful suggestion, a thumbs up, or a piece of constructive criticism, it is all welcome. Here are some ways that you can let us tell us what you think:
- Fire off an email to tsfc@tourette.ca
- Call the National Office at 1-800-361-3120
- Sent a letter to TSFC, 195-5945 Airport Road, Mississauga, ON L4V 1R9
- Leave a comment on this blog
- Post on our Facebook wall
- Speak to us in person at an event
- Mention us on Twitter, Facebook or your blog
We are all ears and use your feedback to help us serve the TS community better. So that’s a total of 10 actions that you can take to help the TS movement (if you think we’ve overlooked an action, please let us know by leaving a comment). It’s limitless what you can do for a worthy cause once you put your mind to it, and TS is a disorder that has come a long way in the past couple of decades thanks to the work of some very special people. Nonetheless, TS has still not had its proper due in this country, and we will NEVER GIVE UP until we realize our vision, that all people who have Tourette Syndrome will lead quality lives as accepted and valued members of an informed, tolerant society. We invite you to join us in fulfilling our vision in your own way. There is a place for everyone in this movement, and people who will be affected by TS in the future need your energy today.
